BZ Sleeping sells more than beds and mattresses we sell a good night’s sleep. We see it as our job to help collect and communicate information about healthy sleeping habits. Here are a few useful tips:
- Take regular exercise, but stop at least 3 hours before going to bed.
- Avoid sleeping during the day.
- Do not spend longer in bed than you normally spend sleeping.
- Get at least 30 min. of daylight each day.
- Do not eat too much or too little before bedtime.
- A hot bath before bedtime is relaxing.
- Avoid looking at the clock if you wake in the middle of the night.
- Avoid strong light if you need to get up in the middle of the night.
